Research Projects

1- Leading a research team to standardize the Good Enough - Harris Drawing- A Person- Test into the United Arab Emirates Society (Man, Woman, Opposite).

2- Leading a research team to develop an emotional intelligence scale for ages (13 – 18) for the benefits of UAE Ministry of Education and Youth

3- Leading a research team to develop UAE national standards of the Beta III Non-Verbal Intelligence Test (Ages 12 – 20 years).

4- Supervising the standardizing Beta III non-verbal IQ test in Kuwait funded by the public authority of applied learning.

Research Interests

My research interests are defined by five tracks of work as follows:

(1): Developing and standardizing mental, psychological, and social scales and tests to be utilized for several age intervals in the Arab Region in general, and the Gulf Cooperation Council states (GCC) in particular.

(2): Assessing the possibility of using emotional intelligence as ability, competence, or a skill to enhance the performance levels and working environment in academia, banking, and other sectors. That is because a big number of research asserts that emotions could work together with cognitions to reach a better understanding of the human behavior.

(3): Deriving an effective prediction model of the school achievement at several stages via several academic and non academic characters. That is based on the nature of the human performance which is made of the integration and interference of Cognitive, Psychological, Physiological, Social, and Environmental factors.

(4): Deriving a new comprehensive gifted identification model combining the Psychometric and Genic approachs for several ages.

(5): Authoring and developing some texts of all research methodology courses in Arabic like: Descriptive statistics, Inferential statistics, Basics of measurement and assessment in behavioral sciences, Advanced methods in statistics, and Quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
